This brief asked me to create a Scotch Whisky aimed at women. It had to be innovative and be firmly placed within the 21st Century.
My idea for this was to base the bottle design around a famous Scottish Women by the name of Elsie Inglis, whose story is told on the sides of the bottle. Essentially she was a medical women who fought against a male dominated society and help set up medical aid during the Great War, despite the war office telling her "My good lady, go home and sit still."
The actual whisky bottle itself is only 170mm high, this is because I wanted to be able to encourage more women to try whisky and packaging it in a smaller bottle is less daunting for first time drinkers.
