LIGHT ASYLUMIdentity Concept
This identity concept has been realized for Light Asylum,an "electro-wave" band from Brooklyn,formed around 2009 and that has debuted with their self released In Tension EP in 2010.Suddenly their most known hit Dark Allies has reach the dancefloors of all over the planet and they're now about to release an LP with Mexican Summer Records.I simply tried to give 'em an identity project as the band,itself,has openly required thru their fanpage.Therefore,this has to be seen just as a demo. The logo has been shaped trying to reach something meaningful and suitable with their name.Thinking about how a "Light Asylum" could've been like,it has suggested me something that would be referred to a sense of depth, and, at the same time,something that would've meant a kind of shell that should host a glowing light.The Pantone 812C that accompanies the whole identity, turned out to be the most suitable to the whole "dark-shaped" packaging with the meaning of spreading light.
